BE Festival is Birmingham’s international theatre festival, bringing together the most daring and unforgettable new performances from across Europe. Audiences are offered the opportunity to see four 30 minute-long shows each night and to eat dinner with the performers in the interval. It’s a unique format that enables you to experience and engage with the wide diversity of European theatre. Furthermore, each show is designed to delight and inspire people no matter what language they speak.
In four years, BE Festivalhas become the reference platform in the UK presenting new interdisciplinary proposals of the most innovative performing arts in Europe. With programming that goes on tour each fall by the best theaters in England as the Barbican of London or The Manchester Lowry, best of BE Festival arrives at the Corral de Comedias of Alcalá de Henares in October , in collaboration with the Spanish Theatre, where it can also be seen from October 30 to November 2.
Best of Be follows a similar format to the festival which takes place every year in early July in Birmingham. You will see the three best shows of the latest edition in the same night (dance, circus and physical theater), each half an hour long, with an pause and a final meeting between companies and the public. A unique opportunity to see the best European theater and dance together in one night . BE part of it !
