Great Nativity Scene in Alcalá de Henares

You can now visit the Belén Monumental (nativity scene) in Alcalá de Henares, open from December 1st to January 6th.

The location chosen for this spectacular installation was the old Gal factory (calle Moldova 2, see map), where you can also enjoy a Circus.

The Belén Monumental, made by the Asociación Complutense de Belenistas, is much more than a conventional nativity scene is a museum about “belenismo”.

You can visit it from 12 pm to 2 pm and 6 pm to 9 pm (Dec 24th and 31 and Jan 5th: from 12 pm to 2 pm and on Dec 25th, Jan 1st and Jan 6th from 6 pm to 9 pm).

In addition, the Casa de la entrevista (San Juan Street) will host the World Nativity exposure with the same visit schedule.

The 51st Congreso Nacional Belenista held in Alcalá, has gathered more than 300 nativity scene professionals coming from all around the world (California, Italy, Ecuador or Colombia), who have stayed in different hotels in the city, and enjoyed a full program of activities including visits to Casa de Hippolytus and Corral de Comedias.
